Manhattan Beach Photographer -Morning Time-lapse

We love capturing time-lapse shots, and watching the world fly by at super fast speeds. Click below to see our beloved Manhattan Beach Pier at 6:30 a.m. on a recent Saturday, from the water, above ground and beyond, in a YouTube clip. We threw in a slo-mo clip at the end as well, because, well, we couldn’t help ourselves.

Manhattan Beach Pier

The Manhattan Beach Pier, at 6:30 a.m., so early that we could catch her reflection in the water.

We photographed the Pier on the new iPhone 8 Plus smartphone, using a tripod and the “Timelapse” mode in the photo settings to get the effect. If you haven’t been to the Manhattan Beach Pier before, know that it’s the crown jewel of the city, and the South Bay in general. Just take Manhattan Beach Blvd. all the way until it ends–at the water. There are two parking lots adjoining the Pier, as well as two others a half-block away. Parking is hard to come by on busy days–mornings are great though, and parking is free until 8 a.m.
